Does homeowners insurance fully cover jewelry and watches?
Usually not in full. Most homeowners and renters forms apply a special limit — commonly around $1,500 to $2,500 combined — for jewelry, watches and furs unless you add a scheduled personal property endorsement. Make a photo inventory with brand, model and any serial number.
